After we left Albany, we drove to Silver Falls to hike and look at the waterfalls. I felt really out of my zone with the landscape type photography and I hijacked my dad's kit lens for the majority of the hike because it is better than mine and I left mine in the car. Editing these was interesting, everything was so overwhelmingly green! The hike was way harder than we expected, Mom and I were so exhausted at the end and Dad was just running up the hills! The trail wound around and up and down and went behind a few of the waterfalls, which made the pain of the hike a teensy weensy bit more bearable. Maybe. My legs were like rubber afterwards.

After we finished the hike we drove along the Columbia River Gorge looking for a place to camp for the night. The only empty place was in Goldendale, Washington, so we crossed the river and drove through the rolling hills to the campsite. There were only a few other people there and bunnies galore! Sadly I didn't get any pictures of the bunnies. As we were driving that night I somehow managed to get this shot with the sun perfectly lined up and everything. I'm still not quite sure how I managed it. :) As we went back by the next day I grabbed a daylight shot, because I'm a sucker for old barns.
Next we headed to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; the last stop before Trout Creek, Montana and Aislinn's house!
